Welcome to the learning Portuguese page - the language of a small but beautiful country on the Atlantic famous for its hospitality.
Many Poles are attracted by the hot climate of Portugal, and Demostenes will teach you the language with energy and a true southern temperament. We will do this above all effectively, and will help you in achieving success – fast!
Classes
Classes are conducted in small groups, enabling an individual approach to be taken to each student. These groups are formed on the basis of language ability and age, with ability determined by a placement test and conversation with a teacher. Students enjoy the benefit of audio-visual aids such as recordings and are also able to make use of the Internet.
After hours
All of our students may take advantage of FREE individual consultations and satellite television.
Students gain access to our multimedia room, which houses computer equipment, a television, a VCR, a DVD player and a radio and cassette and CD player. We also have at our disposal a multimedia projector for group activities. Besides Internet access, we are able to offer a dozen or more satellite television channels and radio stations in a variety of languages.
Coursebooks
During lessons we make use of our own materials, these drawn up by teachers utilising sources of contemporary language use, whether the Internet, the press or television. In use too are board games, pictures and source materials, for instance underground maps, guides and public transport timetables.
